iKen Solutions is an IIT Bombay research spin-off. It specializes in intelligent business systems incorporating BI 2.0 and hybrid Artificial Intelligence techniques such as expert system, case-based reasoning, neural networks and genetic algorithms to enable a personalized end user experience to the granularity level of N=1.
iKen has its offices in Mumbai, India and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
By treating One Customer at a Time, iKen is poised to bring about a paradigm shift in the way market treats customers today. iKen is confident of taking Mooga from present day "great to have" technology to a "must have" system feature in the following years.
As a serial entrepreneur, iKen Solutions is the 3rd company that he has been involved with (Cellent Technologies and Start Enterprises being the previous two). Here, he looks after steering iKen's strategic positioning vis-a-vis competition and ensuring operational efficiency while serving clients.
Backed with a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, he has also worked with Goldman Sachs and Diamond Cluster International in the United States.
Dr. Sonar is a Professor of Information Technology at SJM School of Management, IIT Bombay. At IIT Bombay, he teaches courses on Information systems and technology to aspiring and budding managers. He has earned bachelor and master's degree in computer science and a Ph.D. in Hybrid Artificial Intelligence from Pune University, India.
His research for the last decade has been hybrid artificial intelligence and the outcome has been a state-of-the-art hybrid AI-framework called iKen Studio: for on-the-fly, agile, adaptive and operational intelligence.
He has extensive software development experience on Microsoft plat-form, Oracle, productivity and analytical tools.
Manish heads Operations and Administration at iKen. His past positions with iKen included that of a General Manager and Product Manager. He has over two decades of experience in industry, consulting, and academics. He was also briefly involved as an entrepreneur before joining iKen.
He holds a Master of Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management. He is in the submission phase of his Ph.D. from the SJM School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
He has published several research papers in technology and management. Few of these have been included in IEEE conferences and journals.
Rahul handles marketing and strategic alliances at iKen. He also spearheaded the business development process at iKen in early 2009. He brings along rich experience from Motorola and another start-up, Net Devices, which later on got acquired by Alcatel-Lucent.
He holds an MBA in Marketing from Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai and Bachelors in Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Allahabad.
Antonio has 10 years experience in the IT industry developing different companies in Latam all with great success. Antonio heads and manages iKen Solutions strategy; he is in charge of developing the Americas rollup of the company. His experience includes the development of Novacash, the first non banking debit card system in Latin America for buying on internet, mobile phones and money sending system. In 2001, Antonio started ITegra, a technology businesses development company with HQ in Buenos Aires, where he developed different IT businesses in Latam such as Mobile2biz - a marketing and entertainment mobile company which was later on merged with Netpeople International, the bigger gateway and mobile content company in Latam. He also developed MundoMovil, a provider of electronic prepaid voucher solutions which, after a successful rollup in Argentina, was sold to Cargaya. Today Antonio is also co founder and Vice President of Mobile Monday, Buenos Aires chapter.
Francisco is leading the penetration of iKen Solutions to the Brazilian market and taking care of the overall business and corporate legal structure for the company. Francisco is a lawyer graduated from the Argentina Catholic University (1997) with specialization in commercial law, media and broadcasting, mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring and reorganization, intellectual property rights, telecommunications and technology. As an entrepreneur, he has developed his own ventures (with his partners) such as ITegra (www.itegra.com.ar) and Altergaia (www.altergaia.com). Francisco acquired his experience in (a) e-commerce (he founded Amarata.com former Pampashop.com, lead the e-commerce department of PSINet in Argentina and Uruguay), (b) mobile entertainment (he founded Mobile2biz merged in 2006 with Net People International www.netpeople.com); (c) the mobile prepaid recharge industry (he founded MundoMovil sold to Cargaya www.cargaya.com), (d) the mobile payment industry (he founded TopKash International www.topkash.com) and (e) the mobile marketing and advertising industry (he founded M4biz www.m4biz.com) and Bueeno (www.bueeno.com).
As a lawyer, Francisco acquired his experience in the top Argentine Law Firm M. & M. Bomchil (www.bomchil.com)
Jose leads carrier and handset manufacturer relationship for iKen Solutions. Jose worked at CTI Movil - www.cti.com.ar expanding international roaming agreements and launching SMS services and content business (1998-2000) in the Marketing department. During 2001 he joined Telefonica Movistar's - www.movistar.com.ar -business development department in Argentina where he worked on the launching of new services, defining premium content strategy, managing commercial relationship with aggregators, national and international licensors. During 2003, he got elected for a corporate exchange program with Movistar Spain - www.movistar.es - where he joined the Spanish business development team. In 2006, Jose joined ITegra -www.itegra.com.ar- a technology business development company, with headquarters in Buenos Aires. ITegra developed different technology businesses in Argentina since 2001, such as Mobile2biz -www.mobile2biz.com and www.futmovil.com (which was merged in 2006 with Netpeople International -www.net-people.com), MundoMovil S.A which after a successful rollup in Argentina was sold to Cargaya S.A.-www.cargaya.com- and TopKash International -www.topkash.com- a mobile payment company.
Mario is leading the deployment of service platform Mooga for big content providers and mobile operators for iKen solutions.
Mario has more than 10 years of experience in mobile technologies, design, development and implementation of products and mobile solutions for different industries throughout Latin America. After he joined Movilogic (www.movilogic.com), he had won several accolades particularly for hand-banking product specially designed for BankBoston Brazil and MoviMap, the very first mobile navigation software made in LatAm launching it successfully with Renault Clio GPS limited series in Argentina and Mexico (Palm Excellence Award 2003). Mario was also the product head for sales force automation solution, sold to many different industries.
In the year 2004, Mario joined Telefonica Moviles (www.movistar.com.ar), as VAS Senior Engineer, leading the WAP and PoC (PushToTalk over Cellular) projects regionally. Remarkable experiences in Movistar are the RFP and design of CDS (Content Delivery System) repository, which is still one of the most renowned systems working on mobile operators today in the region; and the implementation of interoperability systems for PoC over CDMA and GSM in all Telefonica Movile´s operations in Latin America, leading different teams of up to 70 people.
In year 2006, Mario joined Mobile2Biz, a local content company that later merged with NetPeople International (now ZED), as Southern Cone Regional IT Manager. Since year 2003 Mario helps in ZA Systems Development (www.zasysdev.com.ar), in the role of core R&D consultant.
